Question 1: Who was the only Woman to play for the Mira Mesa Marauders???

Answer 1: Rebecca Quinn was the first Marauder woman to play football for Mira Mesa High  School.  She was the kicker for the JV League Championship team.

Question 2: Which Marauder held a National Passing Record from 1991-1993???

Answer 2: Chad Davis, from 1991-1993.  Chad Davis played for Palm Springs, Torrey Pines and  Mira Mesa from 
1988-91 (46 games).  

During that time he accumulated 9,332 career yards and held both the state and national records for most career yards. 

Since that time only three California players have exceeded that total. 

10,000+ — Michael Herrick, Valencia, 2002-05 (35+)
9,971 — Keith Smith, Newbury Park, 1991-93 (35)
9,821 — Chris Czernek, Newbury Park, 1994-96 (36)

Answer 8: Teyo Johnson, in 2001 graduated from MMHS and went on scholarship to Stanford where he played both Football and Basketball.  When SDSU hosted a round of the Basketball NCAAs, Teyo returned to SD and played in the tournament.
